Garlic Borcán Spread for BLT Submitted by Sabra Pegler who credits Ric Orlando at the New World Cafe in Saugerties, NY for the recipe 1 tsp olive oil Low-fat cream cheese at room temperature, 1-2 packages 1/4 cup skim milk 1 head of roasted garlic 1/2 cup scallions, finely chopped 1/2 cup parsley, finely chopped 1/3 cup oregano, finely chopped 1/3 cup thyme, finely chopped lemon juice to taste Makings for BLT In blender/food processor, mince the roasted garlic. Remove and rinse blender. In blender/food processor, mince scallions and herbs. Combine and blend in a bowl with cream cheese, skim milk, olive oil and lemon juice to taste. Assemble BLT sandwich.
